The BS in Alternative and Renewable Energy Management program includes 7 main emphases:

Mastery of those 7 areas will prepare students for rewarding careers in productive management in the field of alternative and renewable energy. To attain that goal, students are required to take 123 credit hours of course work, which begin with basic courses you’d expect from any university, such as English Composition, Algebra, Computer Science, and Speech.
Lower-division requirements also include 21 credit hours of “interdisciplinary study,” which allows for transfer credit in related fields such as Management, Accounting, International Business, or Construction. With approval from the Dean of Academic Affairs or Department Chair, courses under other majors at Everglades could be considered. Their other undergraduate fields of study include degrees in Alternative Medicine, Construction Management, Business Administration, Applied Management, Aviation Technology, and Aviation Management.
Upper-level classes include Solar Energy and Photovoltaics; Energy and the Environment; Alternative Energy Safety; Managing an Alternative Energy Project; OSHA Standards; Natural Gas; Construction Cost Estimating; and Building Codes and Quality Control.
